Mobile Dispatcher 2.1.0 for iPhone and iPad: Reports, Event Logs, and More Account Management Tools
Mobile Dispatcher 2.1.0 is now available for iPhone and iPad. This update brings several major LiveGPSTracks features into the mobile app, including reports, event logs, stationary objects, proximity zones, and expanded account management.
Mobile Dispatcher has long allowed users to follow their GPS trackers on a map, review movement history, and manage connected devices. With version 2.1.0, many tasks that previously required the web interface can now be handled directly from an iPhone or iPad.
Seven Report Types, Templates, and File Export
The app now includes seven types of GPS monitoring reports, providing more ways to review and analyze tracker data.
Report settings can be saved as reusable templates. Instead of selecting the same parameters every time, users can choose a saved template and generate a new report with their preferred settings.
Completed reports can be exported in PDF, CSV, and Excel formats. The app also keeps a local archive of generated files, making it easy to return to previously created reports.
Event Log with Filters and Export
A new Event Log section provides access to events recorded by connected GPS trackers.
Users can browse events, apply filters to find relevant records, and export the results to a file.
This makes it easier to review tracker activity without switching to the web version of LiveGPSTracks.
Stationary Objects and Proximity Zones
Version 2.1.0 adds tools for working with stationary objects directly in the app.
Users can create and edit objects, choose their map icons, and display them alongside GPS trackers.
The update also introduces proximity zones, allowing users to configure rules for monitoring when a tracker approaches a stationary object or another tracker.
These features are useful when monitoring movements in relation to specific locations, vehicles, or other tracked objects.
Customizable Tracker Labels on the Map
Tracker names can now be displayed directly on the map.
Users can adjust the text color and size to make labels easier to read and distinguish between devices.
This is particularly helpful when several trackers appear close together on the map.
Account Settings and Security
Mobile Dispatcher now provides more options for managing a LiveGPSTracks account.
Users can update their profile settings, change their password, and manage two-factor authentication.
The app also includes tools for managing friends, configuring notification channels, and viewing service messages.
These settings are now accessible without opening LiveGPSTracks in a browser.
Plans, Payments, and Financial Documents
A new financial management section brings account billing information into the mobile app.
Users can view available service plans, change their current plan, and review their expense and payment history.
Financial records can be filtered and exported. The app also provides access to financial documents, including the option to save them, and allows users to manage organization billing details.
This is especially useful for accounts that use LiveGPSTracks for business GPS monitoring.
Contact Support from the App
Mobile Dispatcher 2.1.0 also makes it easier to prepare a support request.
When contacting LiveGPSTracks support, the app automatically includes the user's account login and application version.
This gives the support team essential technical information from the beginning and reduces the need for additional questions.
Update Mobile Dispatcher
With version 2.1.0, Mobile Dispatcher takes another step toward providing a more complete GPS monitoring experience on iPhone and iPad.
Reports, event logs, map objects, proximity rules, account settings, and financial tools are now available in the same app used to follow GPS trackers and review their movements.
Mobile Dispatcher 2.1.0 is available on the App Store.
